Overall objectives:

The 5-year course of study, which includes businesses internships in design and production, has been devised to gradually professionalize students. The aim is to develop their creative potential as well as their aesthetic, technical, and social relevance as they finalize their experimental projects.

The project workshops—led by teacher practitioners—act as the educational backbone. They are opportunities for critical analysis, research, experimentation, and synthesis that cover the most important areas of creation related to inhabited space (design, spatial composition, anticipation of the future, spatial art, stage design, decoration) and that address essential  social needs (habitat, activities, urban art, public and private cultural equipment).

The specialized courses in interior architecture provide most of the aesthetic and technical knowledge that contributes to the design and production of interior spaces and their exteriors, as well as to good communication about it (simulation and expressive sketches): light, color, volume, construction, relationships, materials and equipment, ergonomics, form, function and symbol, history of modern arts and trends, computer graphics, sociology, project management and prospective, and others.

Finally, visits to analyze “built situations” (successes or failures) enable students to test whether their "design" expectations meet the "achievement" experienced.
