The thesis is a personal work of writing involving reflection and analysis based on documentary research related to creation in the various disciplines taught at the School.
Its subject must be related to the area of specialization and research chosen by the student.
As one of the components of the diploma, it must:
- Prove the student’s ability to formalize thoughts and rationalize practice. The thesis thus takes the form of a written theoretical document that can be supplemented with other documents providing support, illustration, or reference.
- Meet the requirements of reflection and methodology. The thesis must clearly present the issue it addresses: define the terms used, ask precise questions, formulate working hypotheses, and explain and assess working methods.
- Be work of individual reflection on a subject chosen by the student, with the approval of the thesis director.
To facilitate this personal work of reflection and analysis, the School has subscribed to www.compilatio.net. This platform is made available to the students in order to help them avoid plagiarism in their writings.
