Training in one of the School's 10 departments begins at the start of the 2nd year of study and continues until the student obtains the diploma (5th year), which mentions the specialization.

Interior Architecture : This overarching discipline imagines new living spaces at the meeting point of the visual, symbolic, and technical arts.

Art : This department trains students to become visual artists, capable of working in volume and space, of initiating projects, and of fulfilling commissions, through the use of all available technical and technological resources, be they traditional or contemporary.

Animation : Instruction in this department develops mastery of expression through the moving image, aiming for creativity and innovation.

Multimedia/Graphic Design : All areas of graphic design are covered in this department: typography, typeface creation, cross-media publishing, information design, graphic identification systems, signage, graphics and scenography, interactive design, etc.

Product Design : This department prepares students for various contemporary practices of design: industrial design, furniture for the home and for public facilities, service design, and communicative objects.

Textile and Texture Design : In this department, students discover the components of textiles and how to use them creatively within the context of technical, industrial, and economic limitations. Students learn about structures, basic materials, textile techniques (weaving, mesh, printing), new technologies related to textiles, color, drawing, and textile graphics.

Fashion Design : Instruction seeks to have students master the process of design and production in the fields of clothing design, fashion, costumes, and accessories. All types of production are covered, from mass production to research to custom-made items.

Printed Image : The aim of this department is to train designers and creators of images, with drawing as the basis.

Photography/Video : In this department, students learn to execute photography and video projects, with equal emphasis on the professional and the artistic.

Stage Design : As part of the performing arts, stage design can mobilize all forms of expression to create dramatic tension between space and narrative.
